@BenRavenPDF I'm sick longer than before I was diagnosed but noticed during the pandemic I could recover faster with my flexible/WFH work schedule. It has made me a huge advocate for keeping these policies in place.
So having been in the healthcare system for a few months I've got some suggestions...uh...we need more healthcare and we need it to cost less. Can't be that hard, right?
@Metrorailinfo@epleypa So to be clear, it adds over ten minutes to transfer to the yellow line because you cut service past the convention center. This is unacceptable.
@BarredinDC Some bouncers are dummies. I've had issues bringing insulin pens and needles into some bar and music venues but usually, a manager can help clarify without too much drama. I'm sorry that wasn't the case in this situation. Glad it was reported.
Sen. Bernie Sanders to pharmaceutical execs: Will you commit to lowering the price of these drugs sold for 4x, 9x, and 6x more in the U.S. than in other countries?
Execs: Nah.

@Chroot_@wmata I do this commute regularly and door to door it can add up to 15 minutes depending how the schedule is actually running. Metro's reported average wait times is never what I experience in practice. I love public transit but it isn't working like they say it is.
I’d like to remind everyone that Eli Lilly is not the hero in this story. They could have lowered the price a long time ago & many diabetics who DIED from rationing would be with us today. So no, Lilly doesn’t get to act like they are the good guys here. They are not #insulin4all
I wrote about Nick Jonas' Super Bowl ad for Dexcom, and why Beyond Type 1, the diabetes nonprofit he co-founded, shouldn't be so easily trusted. Live now on @MutualAidBetes: https://t.co/5l0VR6HSAC
