I am so very proud to announce The Knowing, the four-part limited series, will get it's world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival @TIFF_NET. For generations, Indigenous People have known that their family members disappeared, many after being sent to Indian Residential Schools, Indian Hospitals and asylums. The Knowing begins with the search for Annie Carpenter and her daughter Liz, the maternal matriarchs in my family and it chronicles Canada's awakening, beginning with the discovery of Le Estcwicwéy, the missing from Kamloops IRS. The Knowing is directed by @courtneymontour and myself, produced by Makwa Creative, @CreativeMakwa, partners @AnticaLTD, the Victory Social Club. The series will be shown on @CBC main network in September. All my relations.
