More troubling connections keep surfacing with Alison Fox’s campaign for Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

Alison Fox declared her candidacy in late July 2025. To qualify for the Republican primary ballot, she needed signature petitions, including at least 50 from the 2nd Court of Appeals District.

While most Republican judicial candidates gather signatures at GOP club meetings and conservative events, Fox took a different path.

On September 30, 2025, she held a petition signing party in Fort Worth hosted and sponsored by the law firms Cofer Luster and the Frank Sellers law firm. At the time, the name partners, Cody Cofer and Frank Sellers, were ACTIVELY DEFENDING ANTIFA members charged by the DOJ with domestic terrorism, attempted murder of officers, and other felonies in the planned July 4, 2025 ambush attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.

Yes, attorneys representing CONVICTED Antifa TERRORISTS helped collect the signatures that put Alison Fox on the Republican ballot‼️

This is the same Alison Fox who:

🚩Previously worked for Soros-backed DA Joe Gonzales (2018–2021)

🚩Has openly courted Democrat crossover votes in a Republican primary

🚩Has been involved in events and timing that conveniently boost her campaign while raising fairness questions

When your path to the ballot runs through defense attorneys for Antifa terrorists instead of Republican grassroots activists, it raises serious questions about who you really represent.

Texas Court of Criminal Appeals judges make life-and-death decisions on criminal appeals. We need rock-solid conservatives with unquestionable records, not candidates with these kinds of associations.

Tom Smith (@smithfortx) is the consistent, proven conservative choice.

Republicans deserve better. Let’s unite behind candidates whose credentials are clear and whose loyalties are to Texas law and order, not to questionable networks.
