@ehanford Just finished the podcast!I taught Reading Recovery, LLI and finally Lucy Calkins for 22 yrs. I always included phonics work in my lessons. My last 2 years in first grade were the toughest trying to implement Calkins curriculum. I retired in June 2022. Thank you for this podcast.
