@Dolarpo This is exactly what the effect will be. Even in the best case scenario, what I foresee is countries at least "delaying" reporting so that they can "brace themselves" for the inevitable avalanche of bans...and in that time the variant runs rampant across borders. Stupid decision!

@andy_mukolo Very true, and applies to any endeavour in life. But for some reason mainstream society understands this when it comes to getting "degrees." We are okay as a society with spending 20+ years and millions of Naira to get a degree but want to make money overnight with zero patience!
