The rule should state that if the fielder has possession of the ball upon the arrival of the runner, it's a legal play. Allowance should be given if the throw forces the fielder to be in the baseline without the ball.

@thecomebackmlb Once again, another situation that could be clearly fixed with replay. Change the rule: EVERYTHING can be subject to replay. If replay can fix it, fine. If not, fine.
