Amazing how someone can turn a 15 second clip into a character evaluation.
I played for Coach Glasco both collegiately and professionally. I’d run through a wall for him all over again.
He cared about us.
He showed up for us as people.
Sure he taught me how to be a great hitter, but coaching is more than skills & strategy. It carries life lessons.
This is a man who was patient with me while recovering from an injury that kept me off the field. It wasn’t my best decision, but he understood.
This is a man who made sure I had somewhere to go for Thanksgiving while I recovered from knee surgery & couldn’t be with my family.
He coaches hard. Holds you accountable. But that’s what all great coaches do.
You can debate strategy all you want.
But questioning his character, our how much he cares about his athletes is a battle you will lose with anyone who’s actually played for him.
Congratulations to @WSchaef90871 on being named Raising Cane's January Athlete of the Month for his accolades in Powerlifting. Just last night Wyatt punched his ticket to Regionals with a total weight of 1500 pounds!

Sports Parents:
When people see you complaining on SM about your club coach, your kids team, styles of play, lack of whatever, how college coaches don’t chose the right players, etc
You’ve got to know it’s a 🚩 to college coaches
No matter how good your player is, you as a parent are poisoning your child’s chances
If you’ve got complaints, handle it in private like an adult, don’t come to social media to whine about it, it can hurt your kids
Remember, it’s not your journey
This whole experience is for your player, not you
Soccer ⚽️ Players:
When assessing players, I’m consistently seeing a lack of ability to pass the correctly textured, nuanced ball to the correct foot of the receiver over 10,20,30,40+ yds
Why does it matter?
Playing the correct ⚽️ to the correct foot allows us to play faster, allows more time for the receiver
Need help?
Just ask
