Pronger hovered around 30 his first few years and he’s a top 10 shut down D all time. Again not saying power is pronger, but we deployed him in that role this past year

@swangush @JeremyWGR Agreed also interested. But he never was touted as much of a pass rusher anyways at draft time. It wasn’t his forte, more of a clean up sack guy. Quite the opposite of verse. I just think browns would want a pass rusher if they’re trading the best pass rusher.

@swangush @JeremyWGR Verse also has 2 years in league which a pretty decent jump in sacks from rookie to sophomore year. Groot is a 5 year vet that doesn’t ascend in sacks. He had a nice jump like verse but then regressed right after and has hovered at same#. Prob safe to assume 7-8 is ceiling.

So I gave an example of a far superior player who also underwhelmed in a series and how it shouldn’t change our opinion of the player overall.

Prob top 3 but got swept with 2 assists after coming off the wild series where he had goals in every game and 9 pts. Is he bad now cuz he no showed?
