Handed over a hearse van, garbage truck, and essential equipment to Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) and Village Panchayat Chicolna-Bogmalo at New Vaddem Office, fulfilling a long-pending need of Mormugao Taluka.

Grateful to Goa Shipyard Ltd., Mr. Brajesh Upadhyay, SS Kambli, and their dedicated team for their unwavering support under CSR initiatives. The hearse van was much needed, while the smaller garbage truck will ensure efficient waste collection in narrow lanes, minimizing disruptions to residents.

Appreciate the collaboration with MMC, led by Girish Borkar, and all councillors for their support. As Palak Mantri, I take pride in contributing to the improvement of public services. Previously, I facilitated the transfer of an underutilized compactor truck from Chicalim Panchayat to MMC, ensuring critical needs were met.

Today, ₹17 lakh worth of equipment, including a shredder, bins, crates, and a water purifier, has been provided to Chicolna-Bogmalo Panchayat. Additionally, MMC has received ₹27 lakh worth of essential resources, bringing the total contribution to nearly ₹48 lakh—a significant step in strengthening community infrastructure.

A heartfelt thanks to Goa Shipyard Ltd. and everyone involved in making this initiative a reality.
