For 5 years, Shefi has been educating, onboarding, and building community for women and non-binary people in crypto.

Today we’re the largest female and nonbinary community in the industry with 30,000+ members across nearly 100 countries.

Web3 talks about challenging antiquated systems and building the future. But look at any crypto company, conference or event in this space… it’s still mostly rooms full of men. Not dissimilar to tradfi.

@maggielove_ started Shefi to mobilize communities that have historically been excluded to ensure that this industry actually represents what the future looks like; globalized and increasingly more woman dominated.

We don't just create some of the most inclusive, safe, high-trust spaces where women can learn, grow, and redefine their careers, but our alumni are very sought after- hired by teams like @coinbase, @Binance, @Gemini.

We provide opportunities for newcomers and also professional women looking to redirect their career into crypto and web3 more broadly.

Education, access, community. That’s the mission.

We are a nexus for women in crypto, especially across India, LATAM, and Africa —with the majority of our seasons powered by free scholarships to make financial education accessible.

We are grateful to be in the position to provide another path forward for women who may not have direct access to their own bank accounts or traditional career paths due to cultural, economic or political reasons.

So yes, the purpose is real.
