@Amusement_buzz@Freeziebuddy When was the e-mail sent, vs when you received it? I got that email at 10:05 am. At 10:35 am when I saw it, there were tickets available for 2 or 3 of the time slots.
@cedarpoint@TonyClarkCP Will the All Park Passport include early entry, or will current Platinum Passholders need to upgrade to Prestige + All Park Passport to keep their current early entry benefit?
@OldDutchCap Do you know anyone missing a feathered friend? How might one get close enough to read the band number?
I hadn't seen it but my wife and a neighbor say it's been hanging around our block for over a week.
@Avandarre @ChadLevy@shanselman That fridge is old. I have one of similar vintage, and back in those glory days, a matching stainless fridge, stove, and dishwasher could be had for just about $2k. Also, as someone on the other thread noted, your quoted price would still be a bargain. https://t.co/MKuAG7DPII

This year, our guests raised more than $150,000 for our partners at @akidagain during #winterchillout!
We're so happy to give back to this organization that helps so many families give illness a time out.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Kind of wish Amazon had a will-call pickup window. The part I need to repair my generator has been less than 5 miles away for 6 hours now, and it might be another 8 hours before it gets delivered.
@kristenbragg@TonyClarkCP Having been to several of them, I'd bet it has been mainly passholders. This event has been exceedingly popular since its inception, and the changes made over the years to allow attendance to grow from 100 to whatever it was the last 2 years are impressive.
@ChudsOfTikTok@davenewworld_2 My kiddo went to an invite-only recruiting event for 5 ivies around 2010. They were really clear, everyone that was invited already cleared the bar academically. Also stated, 60% of applicants would make great students in their recruiting class. Acceptance rate that year was 17%.
@jbreckmckye @dswersky @IanColdwater@mycoliza Regarding COBOL BAD, I hate the excuse "They don't teach it in school anymore."
The only language I learned in school that I've ever been paid to use is SQL. Technically HTML, but HTML taught in the mid-90s hasn't been relavant for a while now.
@jbreckmckye @dswersky @IanColdwater@mycoliza In the best one I've worked on, we moved as much of the logic as possible into Db2 stored procedures, then built a set of web services with the stored procedures serving as a data layer. The users can field-test the new web app while still having CICS, no lost productivity.
