@usopen I think if you were around to see it, most people would say Jimmy Connors. He took an obscure country club sport, made it exciting, put it on television, and started making it what it is today.
@SabalenkaA I have been watching this sport for over 50 years and I’ve never seen someone deserve to win a trophy more. The physical and mental strength you showed was amazing. Really well done. Congrats.
@LizBalmaseda Do you know what happened to Taqueria Bonitas in Rosemary Square? It appears to be closed which would be a shame. Are they open somewhere else?
@TennisPublisher Hi Randy. Good news. Doc’s in Delray Beach is going to reopen with a historic designation. City council just approved the plan. Not sure of timing and if it’ll be open in time for the tournament but looks like it’s going to happen.
@TheRickWilson There’s a lot of good food in London these days. I’d recommend Rules. It’s the oldest restaurant in London, has an amazing history, and specializes in game. It’s an experience. On Maiden Lane just off the Strand.
@andyroddick@timothypmurphy Mostly true, but it’s a great thing for tennis players approaching 80 who can’t play the way they used to. Keeps you off the couch. I’ve tried it as a fallback and it’s more fun than I thought it would be and very social.
@jimcourier Did we finally find a weakness in the Alcarez game? Returning lefty serves in the add court didn’t look too good today. Never made an adjustment. I’ll bet they are lining up lefty’s for him to practice with.
