This is a failure to acknowledge Jesus as fully God and man. Jesus spoke to homosexuality in the Old Testament. “The Word became flesh and dwelled among us”. Jesus is the living Word. We also believe that Paul wrote under inspiration of God. Through Paul, God condemned it too.
Homosexuality was well known in the ancient world, well before Christ was born, and Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. In all of his teachings about multiple things, he never said that gay people should be condemned.
I didn't think this needed to be explained, but apparently it does.
Sharing the gospel and evangelizing is NOT the same as being a pastor of a church. I know it's crazy, but those are two different things.
Women CANNOT pastor a church, they CAN share the gospel and evangelize.
@RealHousewifeMi What on earth did you do with Romans? Homosexuality isn’t even up for debate. It’s a sin.
I applaud them for openly waging war on a sinful culture.
Sincerely, a Christian who knows how to read a Bible.
@armstrongtimes I agree with Christ followers being consistent, but we absolutely reserve the right to put it WHEREVER we want! Whenever we want to! It’s called a sword for a reason. If you feel attacked, it’s the truth piercing through your soul.
@JenResistedAGN For thousands of years we’ve acknowledged that we live in a world cursed by sin. It’s quite elementary actually. It goes back to Genesis 3. So your “burn” actually only strengthens the argument for a Creator.
@SonRanto What else would be new? This is literally every day in the life of a Christian. Honestly we don’t care. There are too many Christians being beheaded around the world for their beliefs for us to pay attention to your tantrum.
@ArkansasTomsBBQ@Xtopher_Uzo But there is ZERO Scripture claiming Mary was sinless or even remotely close to it. The best you have is an eisegetical mess of blatant heresy.
