We applied a blueprint on social needs in cancer control from @ACS. We found interconnected economic, physical, and health system needs, and that caregivers & hospital staff revealed convergent themes.

There are a lot of strategies being considered and even implemented to ⬇️distress & ⬆️well-being among caregivers. But... not a one-size-fits-all-approach. And, it may well be that we need to lots of things to support caregivers. Support is multidimensional. /fin

Caregivers reported an average of 6 MUDs. We found no differences by gender by # of MUDs, but we *did* find that gender moderated the association between unmet needs and frequent mental distress - only female caregivers had the association (4/5)
