I fully support the right of individuals to end their life through MAID, if they are terminal or suffering from a debilitating illness. Autonomy over one's own end-of-life decisions should be respected.

However, I have serious concerns about how accessible this program has become. Extending eligibility to cases involving depression or migraines conditions that are treatable and not terminal should never be an option.
