Not all cross-border trade starts with exports.
It starts with proximity → then expands.
From @KikoRomeoAfrica to @TropicalHeatGrp , the pattern is clear:
• Start nearby • Use trade corridors • Build relationships first Execution is what matters.

The barriers exist.
But women entrepreneurs are adapting:
• trusted networks
• digital platforms
• testing new markets
• shared knowledge
Access isn’t always given. It’s built.

Economic empowerment strengthens their safety, expands their choices, and gives them the freedom to challenge systems that hold them back. Empowering women is not only about growth; it is about dignity, protection, and the right to thrive. #NoExcuse#EndGBV#acttoendviolence
As we observe the #16Days of Activism Against GBV, our team joined partners at this year’s Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Forum, convened on 1st Dec by @unwomenkenya and the UN Global Compact Network Kenya. The gathering brought together inspiring leaders, entrepreneurs
and changemakers committed to advancing women’s economic participation. Throughout the day, the conversations kept circling back to one truth: when women have access to information, finance, fair market opportunities, and supportive policies, their lives change.
Online abuse is designed to do one thing: silence women.
To push them out of conversations, intimidate them out of leadership or even break their confidence and isolate their voices.
