@garonnevik You know, “back in the day”, they created this ingenious little mechanism in the voting booth called, “a privacy curtain”. You were instructed to close it behind you when voting because your vote was deemed a private matter.
@ChristineCaine God chose the first 30 years of preparatory life for Jesus to be spent as a labor worker (carpenter), all along knowing His destiny and what was inside Him. Maybe God still chooses to prepare those of great promise through the mundane, everyday experiences of life and obedience.
@TBN This is going on “repeat” today! One of the most damaging things we do is neglect the teaching of sanctification. The Christian life is not all rainbows & unicorns. People walk away because the sanctification process is confused with punishment, not preparation. Stay the course.
@BethMooreLPM Here it is: Hans Christian Anderson, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. Both sides would benefit from some old school wisdom! And to the Church: Being “clothed in righteousness” takes on a whole new meaning when you’ve witnessed the prideful parade around in their nakedness.
@JackCanfield I wish someone would do a deep dive into charisma versus character. Yes, strength, attitude and motivation are important, but how many brilliant people have fallen off the cliff because their “influence” becomes greater than their integrity…and failure is inevitable.
Happy Father’s Day to all the good dads, both here and departed.
I promised my father before he died that I would share our amazing story with the world, I only wish he would have lived to see it in print for himself.
Today is a day to celebrate “heroes”, and
John S. McKeown, you will always be mine❤️
@BethMooreLPM My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 14, and had to have a full fusion, (which required the insertion of a 12 inch titanium rod up her back). The fear leading up to surgery, the surgery itself, and recovery was unimaginable. She fully recovered. Praying for you, Beth.
@John_Schneider It’s a wonderful thing to have a God given gift that allows you to bring such joy to others. Humility and graciousness are still standalone characteristics. It’s always nice to see them exhibited in public.
@BethMooreLPM@bobsmietana I just finished reading “Courageous Faith” by Charles Stanley. I was absolutely horrified at what the SBC did to this dear man of God at the beginning of his ministry, with the pure intention of destroying him! They didn’t succeed, and praise God, you made it through as well❤️
@BethMooreLPM Idolatry is tricky business in the 21st. Century. It’s not “savages groveling before a totem pole”. However, the very second we take our eyes off of God and look to man, the “Golden Calf” will appear. God alone is worthy.
@BethMooreLPM@mandisaofficial Boy, if there was ever a time we needed “all hands on deck” from mama’s in the faith, (across the globe), it’s now! May the God of all comfort wrap y’all up as you gather together❤️🙏🏻
We lost our beloved Maltese “Winnie” last week, and look what showed up at our door 2 days ago; Penelope❤️. Although we are heartbroken, joy and sorrow often walk hand-in-hand. I am grateful to the Lord for fresh waves of joy amongst the tears. Such is life. I knew you would “get this” Beth🙏🏻❤️
