Receipts don't lie.
Here is a 12-year-old clip of Ruto in Kogi State, Nigeria, sent by Uhuru to inspect Dangote’s cement plant and fast-track licensing in Kenya.
Today Ruto wants us to believe "nameless, imaginary cartels" demanded bribes from Dangote.
12 years ago, William Ruto was sent by his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta to Dangote Cement plant in Kogi state, Nigeria. Kenya was fast tracking licensing for Dangote's project here. After the visit, Dangote bolted, decrying advances of bribes and kickbacks.
Today, Ruto tells us imaginary people asked Dangote for bribes and kickbacks. But we all know him.
Deep inside the Mau Mau cave these great men carved a kitchen with cabinets cut into the rock itself. They kept a document room, sealed with skins, so that plans and records would survive the hunt. They made bedrooms where they laid their mats (matandiko)and slept under stone. The general’s bed was specially shaped for security, not for comfort. This was not a band of wanderers. This was an organised will under pressure. They could take iron from ore and turn it into machetes and other weapons- industry in the dark, while the empire called them primitive and reduces them to rebels in a forest. We sees what the cave still shows: a people who built rooms for food, for papers, for rest, and for war and who refused to surrender the ground even when the sky above them belonged to the enemy.
Dear Kenyans, can we make this video trend so that every Kenyan, who is eligible to vote must watch it and must ensure they vote come 2027. We need to vote in new people. Even if they will steal, they will be new and we can remove them.
