It was a privilege to provide an update on the progress of @Kepler_College. We remain grateful for your investment in education, expanding access to opportunity and creating spaces where young Africans can build the capabilities to lead which is fundamental to the continent’s future.
President Kagame also received H.E. Monica Geingos, Former First Lady of Namibia and Chancellor of Kepler College, who is in Kigali for the Africa Mindset Reset Forum. They discussed the role of education and access to opportunity in advancing youth empowerment in Rwanda and across the continent.
The academic leaders of Kepler College welcomed Ryan Pakebusch, Associate Director of @YaleYoungAfrica Scholars (YYAS) at @Yale University, to campus today. They discussed learning opportunities for YYAS scholars from across Africa, including Kepler College programs and U.S.-accredited online degrees offered through Kepler College Plus.

On Friday, we welcomed students from Kids Play International as part of their two-day camp aimed at exposing them to opportunities beyond their immediate communities.
During their visit, the students experienced university life at Kepler College, engaged with current students, and explored academic and career pathways to help them make informed decisions about their future.

Yesterday, @MastercardFdn Scholars pursuing online master’s degrees at @ASU , with the Kepler College Plus Program, completed their graduate school bridging program.
Through the bridging program, Scholars strengthened practical skills in communication, data analysis, and research methods, building a strong foundation for success in graduate study and their careers.
A meaningful milestone as they take the next step in their learning and career journeys.

Our Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic and Research Affairs, Dr. @mlyngu, recently visited @ASU in Tempe, joining @MastercardFdn Scholars pursuing online master’s degrees at ASU, with the Kepler College Plus Program, as they completed their Summer Immersion and professional internships.
She also engaged with academic and institutional leaders across ASU to strengthen the partnership and explore opportunities to expand graduate education, professional development, and career pathways for Scholars.
Congratulations to the first cohort of the @MastercardFdn Scholars pursuing online master’s degrees at @ASU, with the Kepler College Plus Program, on completing their first year, culminating in a Summer Immersion and professional internships in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Kenya and Rwanda.
The cohort brings together 40 Scholars from 10 African countries across five master’s degree programs.

Today, Mastercard Foundation Scholars at Kepler College, pursuing online master’s degrees from Arizona State University, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and deepen their understanding of Rwanda’s history.
