Your @OntarioNDP Caucus are in solidarity with the 155,000 @psac_afpc now on strike alert.
We call on the federal government to reach a fair deal with these hardworking public employees. #WorkersCantWait#onpoli
SickKids has cancelled 279 surgeries for children in the past four weeks and 6,157 are now waiting for surgical procedures because the hospital's emergency department and intensive care unit are overwhelmed.
I don't have the words.
Doug Ford must not waste any more taxpayer money fighting for #Bill124. I call on the government to admit that this terrible piece of legislation is unjust and promise not to appeal this decision. #onpoli
I see our new Mayor and city council have taken to heart the strong recommendation that masks be worn indoors in our city where @CHEO has had to open a second ICU to manage the incredible number of very sick kids.
Dear Ontario, our children need your help.
Respiratory illnesses have reached crisis levels in children's hospitals, & front-line health-care professionals caring for our children are asking you to do your part:

If you’ve never had to watch a child struggle to breathe then you may not fully understand why the lack of hospital care, fever reducers and antibiotics for children is a big deal.
Trust me-it’s a very big deal.
Parents and caregivers of littles-we need to get LOUD.
I have no idea what school will be like (or if it will happen at all) on Friday or into next week. As a parent, that's difficult.
But make no mistake.
This is not CUPE's fault. This is on the Ford government.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
So @fordnation is sitting on an $8.5 billion "contingency" fund while refusing to give Ontario's lowest paid education workers - some relying on food banks - a raise that keeps up with the soaring cost of living. This is not okay! #OntEd#onpoli
N95 masking and better air quality with HEPA air purifiers in all public spaces would really get the infections down it is very simple to do. It can also be done in cost effective ways too. We need to make more aware of this.
