I made little fairies who happily spawn a platform when you show them your box :)
I hope they make you happy too!
One Neck Ahead~ Big announcement soon!
this is my first time entering a game into #SteamNextFest and it's super scary.
but it also means i've finally built a game i'm proud of.
so i'd love for everyone to try out Go North's demo and have a relaxing and wonderful time!

Make that 88 copies. I just bought the game for myself and 10 of my friends.
3 years of work and you shipped it. That alone puts you ahead of 99% of people who ever wanted to make a game. If you're up for it, I'd love to offer some free marketing help. Keep up the great work ❤️
I implemented a palette swapper in my 2bit platformer: at the moment 30 available palettes. I was showing my friend some screens of the different palettes and the thumbnails on discord ended up looking pretty awesome so I'm just here to share it with y'all.
I'm cheating on screenshot Saturday by posting a video but I lowkey want to show off the side-by-side progress I've made over the last year! #screenshotsaturday#gamedev#indiegames
Early playtests showed that readability was a big problem for a big chunk of the players, taking away from the gameplay experience.
Therefore, I have done a visual overhaul from 1bit to 2bit.
Enjoy this little showcase video!
Finally did a proper sitdown to pixel some more decorative assets for my second biome. Still considering steering away from 1bit, perhaps go 2bit where I'd just use a 3rd colour for background, and a 4th for accents on interactables/hazards.
@Gutterspawn I did a bullet hell game jam with a bossfight in which the healthbar (circular fill) was the platform you were fighting on :D does that count?
Did a little psychological horror game jam with my friend (RIP her wrist so we couldn't get all the visuals we wanted :( )
First time doing something horror and had a lot of fun even though it's far from perfect. 10/10 would horror jam again.
