Expecting to start landing the GNOME 40 stack upgrade into the @SolusProject unstable repository on Saturday! Assuming all goes to plan, should be in the stable repo on April 30th per our usual sync deferring during these sorts of upgrades!
@JoshStrobl@kprajat@SolusProject Yes the changes they made reminded me of the whole Windows 8 boot to metro instead of straight to desktop. If people like launching to activities that's cool, but it would be nice to have the option to just boot to desktop as usual.
@LazyLinuxGamer @z1rak @XfceNation@OsEndeavour I digg the default install for EndeavorOS. It's probably the best looking XFCE installs I've seen out of the box. With the way Gnome is heading I may be looking for a new DE.
@killyourfm I like a mix of both and also depends what kind of game I'm playing. Shooters and action games I tend to go for more frame rate. Anything else I go for graphics but never any less than 60 FPS. I have a Freesync monitor that works with Gsync but isn't officially supported.
@MoistCr1TiKaL Nah man that's not cool. You're over here getting pats on the back for quitting something you never had a problem with. When there are people who really have had a struggle with addiction. That's just a slap in the face man.
Just tell people you don't drink alcohol.

@fishfulpenguin Yes I'm playing on Linux. I have yet to see any black flickering. Ive tried on Pop and Solus so far so good. Started right up using GloriousEggRoll latest proton.
@Timcast Where can one find out more about this Open Source software you want to start developing? I would like to help out in any way I can with my time and skills.
@drewofdoom I'm sure I could get used to it if I needed to. They could always give us the option to choose what we want in the settings. That would be quite nice.
@drewofdoom I'm hoping someone forks existing gnome. If its not broken don't fix it. I'm not a big fan of the changes but maybe once I try it out I may change my mind.
@LazyLinuxGamer There will always be that itch for me, but I only scratch it when It's necessary. I have my few distros of choice. I'm running Solus, Pop!_OS and EndeavorOS for various things.
I have yet to try BSD as well but have wanted to for a while but haven't bit the bullet yet.
