Are we cutting development expenses?

1. “Penyelenggaraan infrastruktur hospital & KK kerajaan” ~RM 1.2B

2. Pusat Kanser Utara - IKN costed 690 million in 2013. So maybe ~RM 1B now?

3. Pusat Jantung Sabah

4. 13 KK baru

Katanya pelarasan bajet tak akan jejaskan perkhidmatan kesihatan asas. Tapi bila dengar ‘kurangkan perbelanjaan’, memang terus rasa risau sikit. Betul ke hospital, ubat dan rawatan tak terkesan? Atau nanti baru kita nampak kesannya? Sekarang pun sistem kesihatan kita slow..

@HKontrak I am all in for SPK. Don’t get me wrong.

But I believe there’s a deeper problem that SPK cannot solve. Until kita sampai tahap kebersamaan tu, jangan harap SPK will do what it is meant to do.

MMC should be our first checkpoint untuk kebersamaan. KKM-KPT level first.

With all this, I believe we are moving from “Us vs them” to “We”. We should.

Therefore, “We” should acknowledge that yg menindas or at least yg enable ecosystem penindasan tu HCW juga.

On paper, of course it sounds good.

But at the end of the day, efforts don’t count. It’s the result that matters.

I support the fight but I don’t think it’s going to make any difference. Not in the nearest future.

Aku rasa bala KKM ni sebab selalu sgt ambik hak orang ni. Cuti, elaun, gaji etc.

Tapi medical fraternity kita sendiri fractured no?

1. KKM mesti ada data keperluan sebenar fasiliti at all levels no?

The manpower crisis in public healthcare did not happen overnight.

The failure of the system to retain and attract doctors has caused the problem, says the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).

Selalu teringat pasal vincristine when talking about this.

Vincristine is extracted from pink periwinkle (C. roseus). Perfectly natural.

But we use it as chemotherapy. Cytotoxic. Literally poison.

Tapi poison tu juga yang menyelamatkan nyawa. By the nature of its cytotoxicity.
