@hspiels@OPStechtrainers As a specialist with multiple classes a day, I feel crunched for time to get things taught and don’t take the time for this. Your idea is a quick, easy way to assess the emotions and then add the tools that will help them self regulate.
@hspiels@OPStechtrainers I love doing projects over multiple classes! I find it much easier to keep them engaged and on task when I show them what they are working toward and give them some freedom in making their own decisions. But I also provide them with some general goals.
@OPStechtrainers My older students are using a rubric with the Big6 Inquiry Process to learn about setting goals with each step. We are practicing the steps and referring to the rubric to keep track of progress.
@OPStechtrainers A3: I’m looking forward to taking walks again. I broke my foot in October, so I had to take a break, but it has been something I’ve loved to do to rest my brain and recharge. I listen to music while walking, too!
