Fmr PM of Mauritius and father of the Economic Miracle of Mauritius, Sir Anerood Jugnauth (91) has passed away.

He was awarded Padma Vibhushan in 2020, India's 2nd highest civilian award, in the field of public affairs.

His son Pravind Kumar Jugnauth has been PM since 2017.
