@korupted68282@ItsOneUp Bro was playing with Insight .. and dont tell me Envoy won with Insight, MW3 Insight wasn’t the same player as he were on BO6/7
After this first night on the COD Beta, here’s how I feel.
In terms of gameplay, movement, etc., the game seems pretty fun and actually feels like Call of Duty.
From a casual perspective, though, it’s once again ruined by this fucking SBMM. The first 4 games are fun, then your lobbies become packed with tryhards and you can’t just chill and have fun anymore.
From a competitive standpoint, I think the game could be really good if we get solid maps designed with competitive play in mind.
The ONE thing that absolutely needs to change for the sake of the competitive scene is giving pros the ability to adjust health for competitive matches through the private match settings. This was possible back on BO2, so please Activision, get your shit together.
Without that, we could end up with another game where the skill gap is extremely low, like BO7. But if players are given that option, we could genuinely be looking at an all-time great competitive Call of Duty season.
@Activision@CallofDuty@CODLeague Just add an option to adjust health in private matches so competitive play can actually be enjoyable. Leave that shit as it is in public matches if that’s what you like, but let the pros manage the TTK for competitive play!
THIS IS SPECULATION, NOT INFORMATION.
#ROSTERMANIA
I can’t figure out what’s holding up rostermania, but it might be even bigger than everyone thinks. There are rumors that players like Hydra and Scrap haven’t even started salary negotiations yet, so what if the whole market is actually on hold because of something not involving them?
Could Dashy be taking some time to seriously think about retirement?
Or maybe the biggest possible scenario — and it’s something that’s been growing more and more in my mind because of the timing — what if everything kicks off tomorrow after COD Next, with Activision announcing the return of 5v5 competitive COD?
That would be an absolute bombshell and would take this ROSTERMANIA to a completely different level.
Can’t wait for things to finally start moving.
@CallofDuty Respect the players who actually want to play competitively. Enable Ranked as soon as the game comes out instead of making us wait two months for it!
If HyDra and Scrap ultimately decide to stay with LAT, this is how I could see Rostermania ending.
Given how limited the pool of truly elite players is, if I were M8, I’d seriously consider a move like this.
The money you would no longer be spending on HyDra and Scrap’s salaries could instead be redirected straight into Kips’ buyout.
At that point, it becomes about building the strongest possible roster with the top-level options still available.
@ItsCrixsy Yeah, and Gentle Mates are moving this summer into a much bigger facility that can permanently accommodate a second team for an academy roster. And when the fuck did I ever say Shane was a bad coach? 🤣
@ItsCrixsy You’re talking like Joe is 25 years old and like we’ve already seen him play alongside absolute superstars, when he spent two years playing with Insight… and the guy still managed to be a back-to-back All-Star.
@ItsCrixsy Because M8 doesn’t have good facilities in Dallas? Just a reminder, LAT’s players are in Dallas too, not at the Thieves HQ, so it’s a very fair comparison. And when it comes to coaching staff, M8 has nothing to envy LAT for, especially if Sender follows the players to M8.
