My take away is being present. I think it depends on who you are. This can be achieved either by being sober or having a few. You just have to know who you are and manage to the best version of yourself for others. To this particular instance you made the bride feel like you were having fun. Not sure of the other two. Besides who cares what they think of you.
He’ll never change his perspective. He’ll die with it. That’s fine. I love his stories though. That doesn’t mean I agree with him philosophically. We all have different perspectives. That is what I love about America. We get to be and express ourselves. He is damn good at it. On the other hand I am still working on it. ;)
@NightSkyToday I agree. Time is just an abstract idea created by the universe. When our physical body expires we become timeless. In fact, because we have consciousness (most of us) maybe we are timeless now but we just don’t know it.
Just turned 40 and still trying to find my (true) purpose. I believe it’s more common than not that people don’t find it. It’s ok. That doesn’t mean you failed at life. Just be the best version of yourself daily and consistently. You don’t need to cure cancer to be successful and happy. The little things are worth more than people realize.
More like connecting consciousness rather than expanding. The universe is pre-set to expand — it’s already doing that. I believe consciousness itself was pre-set long before any of us were born. It may exist from the smallest DNA to the largest star systems. It’s all relative. Our job is to connect. Just my opinion.
