@MichaelEstridge Sting ray was faster than everyone other than Palou on the reds, even deep into his stint, but he was slower on the blacks. He also doesnt attempt to kill people for passing him like siegel. They really shouldn't be in the same conversation imo
@benduchek@USW_PR_HONTata@USArmy@KevinBouren@MCBashaw@DeptofWar There was no research, it was an experimental vaccine without fda approval with many potential risks and very few proven benefits. One could argue that taking a stand in the face of jail time or a dishonorable discharge were putting the team first and their own wellbeing second.
@USW_PR_HONTata Sir, is there an ETA on when this critical information will be shared? I am ready to go back, but without a clear path and a rapidly approaching deadline it feels as though it will not happen
@ORayJohnson@USW_PR_HONTata Disobeying an unlawful order isnt just ok, its the standard. If people followed every order without thinking it would be a horrifying thing.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay Thats exactly why it shouldn't be a federal decision, state representatives are much more constant. They hold office for longer periods of time and are therefore maintain consistent positive change.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay Absolutely its a concern. I think it is something that should be solved by the state governments rather than on the federal level. Different states have different needs and blanket responses do as much harm as good.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay So pre and post covid numbers are bad? huh, who wouldve guessed. Not to be an ass but that feels like a bit of common sense. The job market has been horrible ever since then. Quarterly numbers show current data and trends
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay It looks like between Q1 and Q2 black unemployment rates stayed pretty much the same. Its important to note the populations of both. As 1 black person weighs much more considerably into the figure than one white person does into theirs.

@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay I am a small government guy, I think companies should be merit based but with a broad recruiting reach. And what are the current statistics for 2025? The job market is definitely thin so I could absolutely see that but im curious if their rate is different than other races.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay I agree, its why I dont do that. But the dei program and how it was implemented is why that problem is there. Both the issue of increased bigotry and the issues I stated prior.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay It really isnt that clear cut. There are plenty of people who deny the number without denying it happened. Ive heard people claim it was over reported and under reported. Now I would definitely be wary of anyone who denied it happening entirely. They are most likely a bigot.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay 1. I agree
2. It sort of is. It was not good. That doesnt mean I hate every black pilot, thats fucked up. But at the same time, if that program had never been put in place then no one would bat an eye about it.
Its a cause and effect issue
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay I didnt say they weren't? And it isnt a self fulfilling. Its an observation of current events. A self fulfilling prophecy would require me to say "this will happen" and then do everything in my power to ensure it does.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay I dont mean physical action, words also count as an action in this context. When the person stops the problematic thoughts in their own head then they arent the problem. Its the people that expend the effort to voice those thoughts or carry out those thoughts physically.
@superhumanity@Hotflash222@boomer_714@JebraFaushay There were programs like that, and those would have been acceptable on their own. The problematic part was the quotas and the incentives to businesses.
