Trying to set up an experiment on Pavlovia. PsychoPy keeps giving error code telling me to do A, then B, then C, and when C doesn’t work, then A… went for Git instead and voila.

Have to admit, kick down the door feels way better than figuring out the lock.

This might be just me, but I really dislike people from other ethnicity approach me and try to communicate in Mandarin. It is a mix of “how dare you assume my ethnicity”, and “Why r you calling me out?” So I always reply in Japanese just to discourage them from doing it again 👀

I have also received valuable feedbacks on my dissertation, and insights into the robustness of the published effects. I am glad to be in contact with a highly collaborative and supportive group of researchers.

This week, I have been travelling around Europe visiting professors and learning their opinions on some of my ongoing works, and approach to problem-solving in research.

An encouragement from Cologne today made my day: this project “is something the whole field is waiting for”.
