@RussoHockey @nytimes Legit chance this is the only playoff run the Wild will have with Hughes. If he doesn’t re-sign over the summer almost have to trade him at deadline next year to recoup something. Not going all in this year seems like a risk, paying up for Mcarron but not Trocheck is odd.

All trading for a washed up Tarasenko does in my opinion is block minutes for a young guy. Every Wild fan should agree we will not be competing next year so let the kids figure it out and maybe snag higher pick
