"We don't differentiate between a credit or non-credit student. A learner is a learner is a learner at @pimatweets" says @ianRRoark when discussing the design of #micropathways w @eddesignlab
@jess_geor@eddesignlab Good question! #Micropathways includes at least one 21st century micro-credential (e.g. critical thinking, oral communication, etc.) so these skills are visible to learners and employers. Additionally, they stack towards a degree w/ college credit.
@lukedowden@eddesignlab 100% what @lukedowden said ^^ and a few more may be: mindset shift, design channels and innovation muscles, a clear vision for what could be and a roadmap to get there...
Employers, community college leadership, investors, intermediaries and more... it's clear the design process and the model itself make #micropathways an accelerant for transformation in a shapeshifting economy that emphasizes #SKILLS - @eddesignlab
@JamesSkoufis Yes!! I can think of one in particular around workforce development that was supposed to catalogue all the programs (which is the least we could do given the lack of alignment and myopic programs being offered across departments and funding streams).
