Rockstar acquired the studio behind the car models in Forza Motorsport

I’ve seen this image being shared everywhere with little to no context about why the cars look so incredibly detailed.

The reason is that Rockstar acquired Dhruva Interactive now Rockstar Games India before 2023. Prior to the acquisition, Dhruva Interactive contributed to the highly detailed vehicle models in Forza Motorsport 7 and parts of the Forza Horizon series.

That experience in building realistic, high-quality vehicles has likely been brought over to Rockstar, which helps explain the impressive level of detail we’re seeing in the cars.

I got a hands off demo at SGF and it was one of the 3 games that impressed me most out of the 20 or so games that I saw during that weekend.

A bunch of Forza Horizon 6 players say they’ve been hit by a nasty bug that resets all their progress, with some losing hundreds of hours of gameplay.

People who ran into the issue say they’ve lost everything, including their car collections, credits, campaign progress, and collectibles. The bug has been reported by both Xbox and PC players.

Nobody knows exactly what’s causing it yet, though some players think cloud sync issues or Xbox Quick Resume might be involved.
In some cases, support can give back cars and credits, but most of the actual progress is gone for good.

For now, players are recommending that you let the game finish syncing before closing it, avoid force-closing the game, and back up your save files on PC if you can.

Playground Games is looking into the problem, but there’s still no word on when a proper fix will arrive.
