We’re fighting against “illegals”.
This is a small business owner. He didn’t have to show them his documents, but he did, he kept reiterating its validity, yet, they made him close his shop & beat him.
This is not fighting illegals, you hate your people
Eugene Mutuku was a final year student at KMTC Yata(Matuu). He was set to graduate this year. As part of the course requirement he was expected to be on attachment these few months.
He had just started his attachment on Tuesday this week at a hospital in Kasarani. That's where he was headed to on Thursday when a matatu conductor threw him from a moving NICCO SACCO bus registration number KDV 713J. He was thrown to the tarmac and he was run over.
A good Samaritan quickly picked the injured Eugene who has writhing in pain. As he was rushing him to hospital he found the same bus at garden estate picking passengers. He told them he had the passenger they threw to the tarmac.
He wanted them to take him to hospital but they were unbothered. Instead they told him they will go to the police station to report.
The good Samaritan ended up with Eugene at KNH where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
I don't know what to call this 😢.
Paul Njuguna, a retired technical manager at the Agricultural Development Corporation, invested Ksh 16 million in 2019 to set up Elgon Pine, a refined oil and animal feed plant in Eldoret. At its peak, the plant processed 90 tonnes of canola, sunflower, and soya annually, with capacity for 300 tonnes. Njuguna contracted about 100 farmers who supplied raw materials, while he also farmed 10 acres himself.
The business also produced poultry feeds and soap from crop by-products.
The venture collapsed after Kenya Power slapped him with a Ksh 400,000 bill in August 2021, compared to his usual monthly bill of about Ksh 30,000. Njuguna disputed it as an error and filed a complaint, but Kenya Power claimed underbilling and refused to adjust. When he failed to pay, Kenya Power disconnected electricity to both his plant and home. Though EPRA ruled in his favour and ordered reconnection, the power was never restored, forcing him to shut down operations.
The shutdown affected the entire value chain - contracted farmers, suppliers, and employees - all of whom lost income. Njuguna now questions whether the disconnection was deliberate sabotage and why Kenya does little to protect small industrial ventures. His case has raised concerns about how utility billing errors and slow dispute resolution can destroy promising local businesses and the livelihoods tied to them.
23 Mining Zones all guarded by the KDF under the guise of Ebola treatment and isolation centres.
Kasongo is prioritizing his own pockets over our sovereignty by protecting a heist.
Wajinga waliisha Kenya! We see the game.
Serikal is very predictable. Just as the conversation of Impeachment was catching up, they activated their low key activists to torpedo it with Maraga “Sexual Harassment” stories!
Ndugu @Honcalebamisi give us an update on the progress.
I serve as co-chair in David Maraga's political committee, where Shakira served (quite well actually) as the secretary until November last year when she resigned.
I'll do a thread to explain my experience of what transpired.
President Ruto's rogue DCI have abducted Chuma Moto TV proprietor Elisha for 18th May fuel demos chaos yet he was just documenting it on his YouTube channel. This is a cheap ploy to intimidate a young Kenyan trying to make a living and silence him/make him sing TUTAM.
This guy is no different from me. He is a content creator, proprietor of Chuma Moto TV and President Ruto is going after him just because of the work he does on his online platforms. STOP PERSECUTING KENYANS YOU CRIMINALS!!!
This guy needs urgent legal aid. He is an independent media guy with a YouTube channel who was documenting the protests on 18th May. He had nothing to do with the burning of cars.
After the demolition of people’s homes by @nemaug , a devastated mother reportedly chose to take her own life, overwhelmed by the pain of losing everything. In the video, her young son can be seen desperately pleading with her not to do it.
Look at how the PSG players immediately stopped appealing the moment the referee waved it away. Only Marquinhos approached the ref, and the bench stayed calm. Zero drama.
Now contrast that with Mikel Arteta and Arsenal. When Madueke pulled down Nuno Mendes and intentionally went down looking for a soft penalty, the Arsenal players threw a collective tantrum on the pitch. Arteta rallied his entire bench, screaming at the officials for almost a minute and nearly interrupting the game.
That’s the exact brand of tactical tantrum he throws in the PL to bully weak English referees who completely lack authority.
What makes Arteta truly embarrassing is his shameless desperation. Later on, when Gyokeres’ shot got deflected for a corner, Arteta was up in the fourth official's face demanding a handball penalty. Then we saw the replay, and the ball wasn't even close to a PSG player's arm.
He’s a certified embarrassment to the beautiful game.
