@ediz1975 I've used cleats for 30 years with no problems at all. Twisting my foot out very quickly became second nature and no slower than with flat pedals. Maybe this guy thinks he's Mark Cavendish and has the release tension dialed up too high?

@MichaelSnasdell There seems to be space enough between the box and the crossing for a vehicle waiting. If you treat the crossing as you would the tail of a queue, i.e. don't proceed unless that space is clear, you won't get trapped in the box if a car ahead stops for pedestrians.
