Druski reveals Netflix, Amazon and FX all REJECTED his show ideas because they didn’t believe in him, so instead of begging for another chance, he invested his OWN MONEY and built them himself on YouTube 😲
Now the SAME companies are coming back trying to BUY the shows they passed on and it’s turned into a BIDDING WAR 🔥
“I started to just believe in myself… I’m just betting on myself. Now they want to purchase these shows that we’ve made. Now it’s a bidding war.”
“Before anybody sees the vision, YOU have to see it. It has to start with you.” 🔥
Ryan Clark talks about how Starbucks billionaire Howard Schultz APPROACHED him and invested in launching his sports show ‘The Pivot 25’ just 5 weeks after he was FIRED from ESPN 😲🔥
“He believes that I’m a brand. He believes in the things that I stand for, which I hadn’t heard from somebody of his stature that don’t look like me.”
Jalen Hurts wasn’t perfect yesterday in Tennessee, but when the moment demanded it, he was DANG GOOD.
That final drive by the @Eagles was a thing of beauty, and their Super Bowl MVP quarterback delivered when it mattered most.
I couldn’t wait to break down every throw, play by play. That’s “What Kept Me Up Last Night.” And there was no way I was doing anything else before getting to this one today.

NBA teams pay their top mascots more than some of their assistant coaches. Rocky, the Nuggets' mountain lion, reportedly earns $625,000 a year. Harry the Hawk makes $600,000. Benny the Bull pulls $400,000.
The average mascot in the league makes around $60,000. So what separates a $60K performer from a $625K one?
Moments like bowing to the Mother of Dragons.
A mascot is the only performer in the building allowed to roam the stands and break the fourth wall mid-game. Players can't do bits with celebrities between possessions. Cheerleaders run choreographed sets. The mascot improvises, and every bit that lands becomes team content that travels way past the arena.
And none of it is as spontaneous as it looks. Teams seat celebrities where cameras can find them, and game ops knows exactly who's courtside before tip-off. That's why moments like these keep showing up in clean, perfectly framed footage.
The performers train for it too. Top mascots come out of gymnastics and improv backgrounds, beat out hundreds of applicants, and rehearse crowd work the way comedians rehearse tight fives. Landing a two-second joke that reads instantly on camera, inside a heavy suit with almost no peripheral vision, is a legitimately hard trick.
Everybody in that clip was on the clock. The camera crew, the game ops staff, the guy in the bear suit earning real money. The only person just watching basketball was the queen.

"The Higher you go, the less special you are! Don’t take success as a reason to settle and get comfortable from it, instead use it as inspiration to go put in more work!"

Les Brown was abandoned at birth, failed fifth grade twice, and had nothing. Nike paid him to speak when they were losing to Reebok. Two years later they crossed $1 billion.

“Robert Kraft makes it seem like the Palestinian is the violent one, who has to be the good Negro, or the good Palestinian, or the good Indian, or the good whatever, to be right. That’s what he’s doing. So it sounds like he’s being reasonable. And that’s what they do. The oppressor acts reasonable by saying, ‘Let’s split the pie.’ But it’s not your pie. And that’s what Palestine is all about: splitting the pie. Every time I say, ‘How are we going to split the pie?’ I take another slice. I take another slice. There’s nothing left. And then if I fight back and take my slice back, they say, ‘Well, you were being unreasonable.’ And that’s the problem with Robert Kraft. That’s the problem with all of this.”

Adam Silver answers Pablo Torre's question regarding the growing concern that wealthy individuals and entities are using the approval of the NBA to purchase credibility in the eyes of the public (meaning, fans), and whether he plans on changing anything about the due diligence process because of recent events (Mark Walter and Steve Ballmer).
Hopefully you guys support Ryan Clark AND** the WOMEN who have since defected from ESPN and other networks/were mistreated; AND any and all independent media who would appreciate it.
Love you Kev, and you know that!
Sam Altman just said something no AI CEO has ever said publicly.
"No amount of American competitive pressure should justify recklessness, or let capabilities get ahead of alignment and monitoring."
six months ago the entire industry was using China as the reason to move faster but sama just said it out loud that the argument is wrong.
that is a significant shift from where most of the AI industry was publicly standing six months ago.
