Huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, and I create (Lore Explained) posts to help people better understand the story! Feel free to DM if u have lore questions!
@fwompomp@aquashoe13 Goofy has shown multiple times that he is a bit smarter than Sora and Donald lol He figured out that Xehanort created a Nobody, Mulan was actually a girl, and that it was possible for Sora and Roxas to exist separately just like Master Xehanort does with his Heartless and Nobody.
@Abel_0888 It's possible. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a few test runs before Kairi. What if Yozora was one of them and he just ended up starting a new life in Quadratum.
All the KH games are important to fully grasp the ongoing story and to really connect with certain characters that were introduced in specific titles. If one game has gameplay that doesn't suit you, then just look up the cutscenes. No one will force u to play a game u don't like.

Kingdom Hearts fans will look you dead in the eye and tell you this rhythm game mostly recapping other KH games but with 10 minutes of UE4 KH3 graphics cutscenes clearly cut out of KH3 is actually mandatory play material because it's technically the 11th new KH game or some shit
@EcoEclipse The overall point is that every world in KH1 serves a purpose to pushing the story forward. It doesn't matter if some are skippable. They still do something for the story unlike a majority of the world in KH2.
The is my problem with KH2. A large majority of the worlds you visit do nothing to push the overall plot forward. Even during the 2nd visits you still feel no sense of progress. KH1 managed to make every world feel like the story is constantly moving forward towards the end goal.
@EcoEclipse How is that reaching? That is literally the point of those worlds and what they do for the overall story. Their ability to be skipped has nothing to do with it. You're supposed to do all the worlds. I can name multiple worlds in KH2 that literally do nothing for its story.
@EcoEclipse There is some knowledge given to Sora and the player that has to do with the overall narrative of the story by the end of each world. Again the worlds of KH2 lack in this department which makes the pacing of the story not good.
@EcoEclipse Closing the Keyholes is important to the overall narrative. Besides that, Sora either learns crucial information or discovers something new that has to do with the overall story by the end of each world. That doesn't happen for a Majority of the worlds in KH2.
@EcoEclipse Then you weren't really paying attention to what went on and what Sora discovered in the worlds he visited in KH1. The worlds in KH1 helped push the story forward in some capacity. At the end of each world, you feel that the story is moving forward and a sense of accomplishment.
@paopupper It depends, if you're talking about during the events of KH3, then it would just result in his Nobody being created again with Ven's face. If you mean post KH3 then his Nobody would just look identical to himself.
