@MccreaEmma@Team_English1 Here's something I've tried with some success
1. Pick up an age appropriate book
2. Randomly pick interesting words
3. You don't have to come up with context / sentence because it's right there in front of you
4. Ask the child to spell the words

Online flute and then piano lessons today on Zoom were so successful I want to move to this for most sessions.
Easier than trying to drive three children to three locations on a Saturday morning.
Maybe once a month in-person works.

@stewhud@JamesClear A series of small nudges from a teacher, parent or tutor can often change habits at grass-roots level - enabling a child to change from a bad habit to a good one.
A good habit to promote is to make sure a child (after much working out) highlights exactly what is the answer.
When home-schooling at a time of crisis such as now, it is of vital important to create a haven of psychological safety at home.
The emphasis should be on structure and learning rather than getting all the sums right.

We're not getting paid for this and are not representing this company commercially, but having tried a lot of different virtual whiteboards we can recommend BitPaper
