MAKING THIS DEBATE MATTER

@patrickbetdavid Patrick, I have great respect for the responsibility you’ve taken on in moderating Friday’s debate between Candace @RealCandaceO and Andrew @paleochristcon.

I’m sharing the message I sent to Candace and Andrew, and now offer these thoughts to you as well, respectfully and with full deference to your considerable experience as an interviewer, host, and your many years navigating difficult conversations.

What follows is simply a case for creating the best conditions to examine the available evidence, test it rigorously, and see what survives that scrutiny—bringing greater clarity and moving us closer to the truth.

“Genuinely, Andrew, I’m not trying to be provocative. I mean this sincerely, and I hope you’ll read this in that spirit.

And forgive the length, but both the gravity of what you and Candace are about to undertake—and the opportunity you both have to make it genuinely meaningful—deserves a full response.

There is already a great deal of cynicism surrounding this debate, particularly because large sums of money have been attached to it. People are saying that Charlie’s assassination is simply being exploited and monetized by you and Candace.

I feel certain both you and Candace will be determined not to prove them right.

That should be an important guardrail for the entire debate: never allow it to become a ghastly spectacle. Whatever money, audiences or personal rivalries surround it, the subject is the murder of a much-loved human being and the many unresolved questions surrounding who was responsible for ending his life.

If Candace refused a formal agreement on “no ad hominems or personal attacks,” you can still set and maintain that standard yourself. You don’t need her agreement to establish your own.

Why not begin by saying that, for Charlie’s sake, his family, and everyone trying to understand what happened, you want to take this onto higher ground—and invite her to join you there? Then keep returning to the evidence, the disputed facts and the central questions.

Charlie’s horrific assassination is directly comparable to JFK’s assassination. He was a major political figure, loved and respected by millions, brutally murdered in public, and his death has left behind profound unanswered questions and all the hallmarks of a cover-up.

Like JFK, this is an assassination that will haunt the country until we know exactly who killed Charlie, why he was killed, and who was involved. It demands the utmost seriousness, restraint, and commitment to the truth.

So this is definitely not an ordinary debate between two adversaries. It is two people who both claim intellectual integrity examining profoundly disputed facts about the murder of a good man—a man who was on his way to becoming a great man.

There may be people hoping to watch you tear each other apart, but surely that cannot become the purpose of this debate.

Put the important claims on the table and ask, What actually supports this? How reliable is it? Is there contradictory evidence? Is the conclusion stronger than the evidence allows? This would make the debate extraordinarily purposeful and interesting.

The measure of this debate shouldn’t be who manages to humiliate the other the best, but whether, by the end, we understand the evidence better and can honestly say: we got closer to the truth.

And perhaps both audiences come away respecting both of you more—because you both listened when the other made a legitimate point, conceded when the evidence required it, and demonstrated intellectual honesty throughout.

If this debate produces a winner at all, it will be the person whose position is best supported by the evidence they can present.

Fight for the truth, rather than simply fighting each other.

That would answer the accusation of exploitation far more convincingly than anything either of you could say about it.”

Just reminding everyone that Andrew Wilson quite literally offered to debate me (or Baron Coleman) on OUR respective platforms for 300k.

I literally accepted the public offer that he made.

He also demanded that we negotiate the exact terms of that debate publicly here on X (which took a day and a half) so that none of us could edit the agreed upon terms thereafter.
Now Andrew is posting hostage videos, complaining that when Joe Rogan offered to host us thereafter, I would not agree to let him suddenly edit the painfully and publicly negotiated terms which he insisted upon.

He’s upset I accepted HIS initial offer followed HIS initial demands and wouldn’t suddenly pivot and agree to fly down to Texas to instead allow Joe Rogan to host the debate.

Is this the first time anyone in Andrew Wilson’s life required him to be a man of his word? Because he seems genuinely hurt and confused by it.

My wife is a nurse. She was pregnant during the pandemic. Her best friend is also nurse and she too was pregnant during the pandemic. She and her husband had been trying for a long time and this was their first.

They were both well into their pregnancies when the hospital that they work for started mandating full time employees get vaccinated. The hospital was pushing the vaccine so hard and the rhetoric was so crazy that they were both worried if it would even deliver their babies if they were not vaccinated. That's how scared they made people.

My wife and I decided immediately that there was no chance she was getting vaccinated while carrying our baby. She was only a couple months from giving birth so she tried to stall. She filed for an exemption, it was denied. She used whatever PTO she had. Then she quit full time and went part time. She made it through and gave birth to our beautiful, healthy, love of my life baby boy, vaccine free.

My wife's friend was just a couple months away from giving birth when she succumbed to the pressure to get vaccinated. She and her husband had already set up their daughter's room. They named her Penelope.

She was full term when she started having stomach pains. She thought she was in labor so she went to the hospital. The doctor told her that her baby was no longer alive. They induced labor and she delivered a dead little girl. Afterwards the doctor told her that a blood clot caused the death of her baby.

When my wife's friend sees our son she still gets emotional because her daughter would have been the same age as him. It breaks our hearts to see her still so heartbroken. What happened during the pandemic was just pure evil.

Fun Fact: The DEA's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigated Jeffrey Epstein under Operation Chain Reaction for drug trafficking, prostitution, and money laundering.

The case Loomer is referring to is interesting, and it’s notable that it’s what she points her audience to…the FBI knew of Merchant and still let him enter the country, then had FBI-controlled sources get him to describe a harebrained plot, of which he had no potential of pulling off, then arrested him. Hardly a terrorist sleeper cell plot. Funny that this “plot” is cited over and over again, yet no questions are tolerated about Thomas Crooks—who actually shot President Trump.

Regardless, now that we’ve started this war & killed the supreme leader & bombed a girls’ school in Iran, radicalizing the Iranians, we’ve essentially encouraged a self-fulfilling prophecy and will likely experience blowback terrorism here at home.

Manipulating & inflating intelligence is how we got into the disastrous Iraq war—we should know better.
