Covid rates have been uniformly good in the U.S., but there IS geographic variation. For example, I'm OK eating indoors in SF now (7 cases/100K/d). But I'm heading to NYC this Friday, and I won't (29 cases/100K/d). Why? The same encounter there is 4x riskier Covid-wise than here.
