A #gritty group of 6th graders from @KnoxGifted calculating, cogitating, collaborating, communicating, connecting, constructing, & crafting. #kga6th#MakerEd
This horse has been named Perseverance. This group modeled grit, collaboration, and the lovely lessons that result from successful failures. #kga6th#kgarocks#kgacardboard2021 https://t.co/oMOyuxBkE5
Notice and wonder! Ask a #kga6th grader how to use math tools to test for scale and proportional relationships. #kgarocks#cusdstory https://t.co/Ki9yHftxy9
Part 2: more assistive technology prototypes to solve a problem Earth may have. Do you see the personification? #kga6th#jrhighthekgaway https://t.co/89sbKiU7va
If humans had to quarantine in space and a team of innovative #kga6th graders invented assistive technology, we would come home to a beautiful Earth. #JrHightheKGAway https://t.co/i0Tyfilrhj
Thank you for picking up your materials today @KGA6th students!! We can’t wait to see you at our our first ever virtual Meet the 6th Grade Team tomorrow August 4th.
Shoutout to our 6th grade hero’s who continue to problem-solve, challenge, and most of all support and connect to their families and each other. Even at a distance, your teachers continue to be inspired by YOU #kga6th#kgarocks#cusdstory
And, away they went! So excited (and jealous) for all the science, memory-making, and investigating our @KnoxGifted@KGA6th team will do at the @B2science over the next 3 days! We miss you guys already! #kgarocks
If you are looking for something to do today, please check out the @cityofchandler Chandler Museum and you will see how @KGA6th helped students connect to history in their own backyard. Thank you @cityofchandler for your support. #kgarocks#cusdstory
For a limited time, visitors to the #ChandlerMuseum can experience custom works of cardboard art created by @KnoxGifted students.
Sixth-grade students were inspired after a field trip to study the Museum's exhibit on Japanese internment camps in WWII: 👉 https://t.co/8kEgkvLChB
Niche announced today that CUSD is the top-ranked school district in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Additionally, all 43 CUSD schools graded earned either an “A” or “B” grade, and 79% of those earned an A+, A or A-. Wow! Chandler Unified School District was also graded an “A.”
What do you find when you “storm areaC pod”? Students had to make items that represented 6th grade. This team decided to make a compass that doubles as an exacto knife. #makersgonnamake
We would tell you all about today’s #kgamakerfaire. But @KnoxGifted Student Body President Elizabeth Barlow does a better job than we can explaining the meaning of today’s #MakerFaire
