@michelebigley @CDCgov They used to run a zombie apocalypse scenario at my undergrad - University of Rhode Island. The intent was to see how a pandemic would spread. Students loved it.

@AFischerGames Huh. I'm also interested in the expressed value of hobby collecting. I don't have a large collection so I can play the most complicated esoteric thing. I have a large collection so I have a game that fits the play style of my guests, no matter their interest or experience.

@TrishHerps4Life The times I broke that rule, I did it knowingly. I could absolutely work 2 weeks straight to finish a project, but it was followed by a significant burn out period where I wasn't getting anything done, so I only did it when neccesary and built in recovery time.

@TrishHerps4Life No. Setting boundaries is good and neccesary. When I worked on my PhD, after 5 and weekends were off limits most of the time. My mind doesn't function after 5, and weekends were for laundry, cooking, groceries, etc.

@tadleckman We picked up an anker powerhouse 200 battery charger over the summer - it's big enough to recharge the laptop 3 times. Drove into town to sit in a parking lot for wireless in a pinch. Fun times.
