@LaurenLabeled are there any guaranteed ways to get it indexed? I rarely see the search bar filled in even though the video has plenty of captions, hashtags
@sirajraval grifting as usual, no ads running, even if you search the keywords you posted, nothing comes up. very saturated space for those looking to compete with SEM
Key Takeaways:
• Focus on encouraging bookmarks over likes and shares.
• Emphasize “Save this for later” in your content strategy.
• Shares have little impact in either model, which was the most surprising to me.
What Actually Drives Views on TikTok? Most people know likes don’t have much impact on views but what about shares, comments, and bookmarks? I analyzed the last 30 videos posted by @viraltoktracker to see which metrics actually matter, using both linear and log-log models.
Why Does This Matter?
• Bookmarks indicate intent to rewatch a video later, signaling stronger interest to the algorithm.
• Likes are passive; shares are inconsistent in driving views.
The general consensus is that it’s easier to go viral on TT than IG or YT but that hasn’t been my experience.
I’ve launched multiple consumer apps utilizing organic social as the primary growth channel and Instagram has consistently outperformed TikTok.
@jazilzaim My campaigns are organic only-- we build projections based on average/median video performance
Because of CPM targets, most creators I sign have more views than followers-- algo likes them for discoverability
Creators hit or exceed avg view number on IG, but not on TikTok
