I started a weekly project called The Tangible Age—making real things in a digital-heavy world. Each week I try a hands-on skill and share what I learn. Follow along if you like building, learning, and creating.

Yesterday's SOTA actiavtion (W7M/LM-166) was a true Montanan 2-point soul crusher. ~1500' climb in about a mile. 45 QSOs; 40m, 20m, and 15m. Always great to get some DX in the log. Thanks F4WBN, and EA7GV! Great day to be on a summit. 73!
I am completely humbled for being recognized as Ham of the Year from my local radio club. Just over a year ago I made my first contact from Wake Island. It was a wild ride and I was honored to be able to share Wake with the world. Be open to opportunities.
Gates of the Mountains Wilderness Area, double SOTA activation trip report. Some well earned points on a 13.5 mile adventure with no one else in sight all day. SOTA-up! https://t.co/DWqv5MXnQ9
Well, that’s a wrap. I’ve accepted a position for a job at home in Montana. Wake Island was an amazing experience for me, largely thanks to our ham radio community. 73, Allen ~ KH7AL
