AIAPGET 2026: ಇಂಟರ್ನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಕಟ್‌ಆಫ್ ದಿನಾಂಕ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಗ್ರಹ

ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ (RGUHS) ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು AIAPGET 2026 ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2020–2021 ಬ್ಯಾಚ್‌ನ ��ಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವು 29 ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2025 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ರೋಟೇಟರಿ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 2025ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಬಹುತೇಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನಾಂಕವು ನಿಗದಿತ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಾಂಕವಾದ 31 ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2026 ನಂತರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರ್ಹತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದರೂ AIAPGET 2026 ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗುವ ಭೀತಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆಯೋಗ (NCISM) ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಇಂಟರ್ನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕಟ್‌ಆಫ್ ದಿನಾಂಕವನ್ನು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಒಂದು ವಾರ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರ���.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದಂತೆ, ಈ ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನೇಕ ಅರ್ಹ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತತೆಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಸೂಕ್ತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ವಿರೋಧಿ “ಹಿಂದೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದರೂ FIR ದಾಖಲಿಸದಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರ ವಿಷಯ.

BNS 196, 197, 299, 152 ಅಡಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಅಂಶಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ, “ಲೀಗಲ್ ಒಪೀನಿಯನ್ ಬೇಕು” ಎಂಬ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಉತ್ತರ ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕ��ಡ ಗೋಚರವಾಗುವ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ವಿರೋಧಿ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೇನು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಬೇಕು? ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಘಟನೆ ಬೇರೆ ಸಮುದಾಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತೇ?

ಕಾನೂನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅಥವಾ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಡಿಲಿಕೆನಾ?

ಭಾರತದ ಮೂಲ ಆತ್ಮವಾದ ಜಾತ್ಯಾತೀತತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೂಡ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು.

ತಕ್ಷಣ FIR ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ, ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕಲು ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಲು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರಾದ @PriyankKharge ರವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಈ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಕಳವಳಕಾರಿ. ಜನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತುವವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ಮೌನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುವುದು ಪ್ರಜಾಸತ್ತಾತ್ಮಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಒತ್ತಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮಣಿಯದೆ ನಿಷ್ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥ��ಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

Conducting the CUET-UG examination on Eid-ul-Adha is unfair to thousands of Muslim students. Bakrid is a major religious occasion involving prayers, sacrifice, and family responsibilities, and scheduling a national entrance examination on the same day places students under unnecessary stress while creating a conflict between their faith and academic future. Authorities must ensure that examination schedules respect the religious practices of all communities. I urge the National Testing Agency and the Union Education Ministry to reconsider the May 28 examination date and announce an alternative schedule immediately.

ಇಂದು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ಆಕ್ತರ್ ರಜಾ ಸರ್ಕಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆ.
ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಕೋಮು ದ್ವೇಷ ಹರಡುವ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ಗೋ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಮುಸ್ಲಿ���ರು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಎಸಗುವ ಪುಂಡರಿಗೆ ಪರೋಕ್ಷ ಬೆಂಬಲ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಖಂಡನೀಯ. ಇದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ನಿಲುವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಬಯಲಿಗೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ – ಪುನೀತ್ ಕೆರೆಹಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ಅವರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೇ? ಗೃಹ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೇ? ಅಥವಾ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ–ಸಂಘ ಪರಿವಾರದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಗೂಂಡಾ ಪಡೆ ��ಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೇಲಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ?

ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ನೈತಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ಗಿರಿ ಕೇವಲ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಮೇಲಿನ ದ್ವೇಷ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ರೈತರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ದಾಳಿ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಹಾಲು ಕೊಡದ, ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಲ್ಲದ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಕಲು ರೈತರು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ನೂರಾರು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಬೆಲೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ರೈತರು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ, ಇಂತಹ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರು ಬದುಕುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಗೋ ಪ್ರೇಮದ ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಮೊದಲು ರೈತರ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಣ ನೀಡಿ ಬಲಿ���ೊಡಲು ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಡೆದು, ರೈಡ್ ನಡೆಸುವ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ನೈತಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗಿರಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಕಪ್ಪು ಚುಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಿವೆ.
ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ನೈತಿಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಗಿರಿ ಕೇವಲ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಮೇಲಿನ ದ್ವೇಷ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ರೈತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವ ಕೃತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

“ಗೋ ಪ್ರೇಮದ ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಮೊದಲು ರೈತರ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿ. ಒಂದು ಕೆಜಿ ಸಗಣಿಗೆ ₹5000 ಫಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿ, ರೈತರ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ತರಲಿ. ಆಗ ರೈತರು ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಲು ಹೋಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ರೈತರ ಜೀವನದ ವಾಸ್ತವ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದವರು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಡುವುದು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಚಾಲೆಂಜ್ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

“ಕಾನೂನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಮು ದ್ವೇಷ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪುಂಡರನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿರುವುದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ರವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಾನೂನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಕ್ಷಣ ತನ್ನ ನಿಲುವು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದೆ.

“The government’s move to withdraw cases against hate speech offenders is condemnable – Is it also supporting hooliganism in the name of cow protection?”

Today, I participated in and addressed a protest organized by SDPI at Akhtar Raza Circle in Davanagere.

On one hand, the government is withdrawing cases registered against those spreading communal hatred. On the other hand, in the name of cow protection, individuals are taking the law into their own hands stopping cattle legally purchased by Muslims and carrying out acts of violence. Such indirect support to hooligans is highly condemnable and clearly exposes the government’s double standards.

My question to the Director General of Police: To what constitutional position has Puneeth Kerehalli been appointed in Karnataka? Is he a police officer, a special officer of the Home Department, or is a private militia linked to the BJP–Sangh Parivar operating above the law in the state?

This moral policing, targeting cattle legally purchased by Muslims, is not just hate politics against minorities it is also an attack on the livelihoods of farmers.

Farmers are forced to spend hundreds of rupees daily to maintain cattle that neither yield milk nor are suitable for agriculture. At a time when farmers are already struggling due to the lack of support prices for crops, how can they survive if they are not allowed to sell such cattle? Those who claim to love cows must first address the distress of farmers.

ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಸ್ವಾಗತಾರ್ಹ – ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ಅಗತ್ಯ

ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ಕುರಿತು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಸ್ವಾಗತಾರ್ಹ. ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ನಿಷೇಧವನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ಸ��ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಮತದಾರರ ದಿಟ್ಟ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಿಷೇಧವನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ, 2ಬಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಮರುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗಾಗಿ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ತನ್ನ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶಾಲಾ-ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ಧರಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಘೋಷಿಸಿರುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ವಾಗತಾರ್ಹ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂಲ��ೂತ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ನೀಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ, ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ₹10,000 ಕೋಟಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಾಣಬೇಕಿದೆ.

2ಬಿ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು 8% ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಬಾಕಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಹಿಜಾಬ್ ಕುರಿತು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ಒಂದು ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಕೇವಲ ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ, ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರಬಲ್ಲ ದೃಢವಾದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

The Hijab Decision is Welcome – More Steps Are Needed on the Path to Justice

The decision regarding the hijab is welcome. The cases filed against the protesters who fought to lift the hijab ban should also be withdrawn immediately.

Due to the firm decision of the self-respecting voters of Davanagere, it has become possible to withdraw the hijab ban in educational institutions. Similarly, SDPI will continue its struggle for the restoration of the 2B reservation.

The announcement by Minister Madhu Bangarappa allowing the wearing of the hijab in schools and colleges across the state is certainly a welcome decision. This is an important step that respects the religious freedom and fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

However, it must be clearly stated that this decision alone is not sufficient. Fundamental issues faced by minority communities in the state—especially Muslims—still need to be addressed, including the release of ₹10,000 crore in funding for their development.

The demand for the restoration of the 2B reservation and increasing it to 8% has been pending for a long time. Ensuring equal opportunities in education and employment is a primary responsibility of the government.

This decision on the hijab may be a positive beginning. However, true justice means comprehensively ensuring all rights and opportunities for minorities.

The government should not limit itself to announcements alone but must take concrete actions that bring real change in the lives of minorities.

I visited Turchaghatta village in the Davanagere South Assembly constituency and carried out a door-to-door campaign seeking votes. On this occasion, I directly interacted with local residents and discussed their problems, needs, and expectations regarding development.

During the visit, elders blessed me and expressed their support for my efforts. Their encouragement and blessings have given me greater strength and have further strengthened my commitment to working with dedication for public service.
