Didn't know about this logic with box and lasso:
When there are no full-length edges inside the box, all edges that touches box are selected. If there are full-length edges, then only those are selected. When using shift, the edges that are already selected aren't counted:
It seems to be that some people aren't aware about Even option in Loop Cut.
E for Even, F for flipping the side.
( I waste my time trying to find optimal workflows for every step, while some people finish their projects tweaking the mesh vertex by vertex :D )
There is an free Addon called Mesh Tools, and a lot of stuff it has is in Blender natively. I wonder if addon was made before those were added.
Anyways, it has an Offset Edges tool, which I find very useful in some scenarios, and haven't figured out native way to do that 1/x
Quick measurement idea with new GN Empties.
( this could be done with Objects too just as well. But I find Empties more proper for this kind of stuff.. )
And I wish those would be hidden when I turn of the Overlays as other Empties are.
Somekind of smart empty collection🤔
