Neeraj Chopra showed the qualities of a true champion with his resilience and strong comeback!

An unusual slow start-foul in 1st throw,in 5th position after 2nd throw,in 4th position after 3rd throw and then came the champion stuff-88.13m to jump to 2nd position!

But it was a day dominated by the defending World Champion Anderson Peters from Grenada 🇬🇩

In a final - 3 throws over 90m!! Quite an incredible feat from the World Champion.

And guess what, he saved his best for the last!

@arpitbhtnagar He was having an injury before this (muscle strain). It seems he did not fully recover from that so he didn't take the risk of participating and making it worse. He just had a couple of throws in practice and decided not to participate. Hope he recovers well for #CWG2022
