@josethevrtech Also only the server owner needs plex pass to provide that benefit to everyone who has access to the server (if the server owner doesnt individuals can pay for their own either monthly or lifetime to still use the relays)
The relays cost to maintan and use a lot of data.
@josethevrtech The main thing the sub covers is ease of use.
JellyFin you can watch anywhere away from home if you set up port forwarding or a private VPN.
Plex just does the relaying for you automatically no setup needed, which makes it significantly easier when sharing with family.
@uralstechCTO@Lunayian@origalili13 They use OVR on Quest and OpenXR on Pico and Vive HMDs (yes they havent even migrated quest to OpenXR while having an OpenXR build for other platforms)
@gluttnousGoddss@LinkofSunshine There were actually some cultures that used base 12 because they counted the 3 sections of a finger with the thumb on one hand (4 fingers x 3 sections = 12 counts + a thumb pointer)
@gluttnousGoddss@LinkofSunshine We use base 10 bcause counting to 10 is easy on 10 fingers makes sense an alien would use base 4 for the same reason with 4 fingers.
Base 4 means single digit numbers above 3 don't exist to the alien. So 4 = 10, 5 = 11, 6 = 12, 7 = 13, 8 = 20
@TDesecrated@AntonHand Thankfully they did make a second season that was recently (late last year) added to Netflix which wraps up the story, more would have been lovely but it is atleast somewhat resolved.
@Savivrc@SadlyItsBradley You could probably force it, but the SteamFrame is not going to be significantly more powerful than Quest 3 to an extent where you'll not see the exact reason Quest cant load some worlds (horrible performance)
The SteamFrame is less powerful than the SteamDeck and that struggles
@djlufz In OpenXR mode is there actually depth? Are you moving the camera for each eye to simulate stereo rendering? (Like how Luke Ross mods operated with Alternate Eye Rendering?) Or are you just feeding the static full view per eye?
@KizmaHusky@FurryCairo Does the SCAR and the AK "feel" the same? They're both guns right?
Thats cars in Forza, every car has unique characteristics and then you can tune them to go even further.
Besides I have a way higher chance of ever being able to shoot an AK in real life than drive a sports car
@thehorizon2b2t Biggest reason (bigger even than tectonic plates) is that earth actually HAS water, which changes the shape of the share line (and smooth it out some what)
While just adding a water level to other planets doesnt account for what the water would actually do the the continents.
@Nekcrowtism@Ceaseless_boid Most creatures dont react but aggressive creatures will move away if you strike them before they chomp you. Atleast it works for the angler things in the first area
@ysonokosan@Grummz You absolutely can defend yourself, if you use the multi-tool to bash certain enemies as they approach you they turn away. You cant kill but you definitely can defend (as you unlock more tools later they can also be used in defensive manners to get aggressive creatures to move)
@OGZillaGod@SkyMonkeyz@RepJackKimble You should get glasses then, because this absolutely is a parody count and 5 seconds of googling would prove it (for starters callifornia doesnt have 54 districts)
@funnygamedev@castform51 Sonys decision did, but it was as platform holder about content that they would not allow on their platform.
The fact that Sony also owns a publishing company (Playstation Studios) has no impact on Ready Or Not because they were not a publisher and provided no funding.
@funnygamedev@castform51 Hey so you actually dont know anything about me, Im a VR dev and we self publish on Steam and the Meta Quest store.
Your example also makes you look like a larper because Sony is not Ready Or Not's publisher.
They influenced Ready Or Not by being the platform holder (like Valve)
@funnygamedev@castform51 Other than influencing "does this game get made" no they absolutely do not influence the development.
Annapurna in particular do not influence and only provide support and resources where the developers explicitly request it.
@ru_opa@caarlos0 Not sure about what changed relative to the version youre on, but archiving the repo means they're abandoning the project.
No updates, no full release, nothing.
