Our Mission is to empower Emaswati to act against Gender-Based Violence through Prevention, Care & Support and Access to Justice. Here is a reminder of our operating hours and where we are located:
It is so sad for the past 2 weekends we have 5 women who have lost their lives in the hands of men. What is so sad with the latest incident is that the suspect was out on bail an he further killed himself. 1 life lost on GBV is too many.
The brutal murder of women in eSwatini is not only disheartening but also takes away women's ability to enjoy their basic rights, their ability to live freely and to feel safe - women should not have to live in perpetual fear for their lives. #endGBV#endfemicide#INYANDZALEYO
Maswati lamahle asibambisaneni: there’s a bail application hearing today at the High Court we appeal for justice and support. Please come join us as we stand in solidarity with survivors/victims of Gender Based Violence. #INYANDZALEYO#endGBV#towardsaviolencefreeeswatini
In a country where GBV is at an all-time high, finding safety in/trusting those around you is increasingly difficult. However, a law enforcement official is the least likely culprit you’d think to be weary of. We’re at a loss for words #INYANDZALEYO#DeclareGBVaNationalEmergency

Sometimes safety feels boring. Be mindful of this energy nuance. ‘Boring’ is better than misery and unnecessary stress. As you surrender to a different pace and energy, your perspective shifts from boring to restoring.
It is our role to ensure the dismantling of barriers to reporting gender based violence; particularly Violence Against Children. Identifying the barriers is the first step.

Sexual harassment can have serious consequences for the employer as well: An institution can experience productivity losses as employees call in sick frequently, quit suddenly, or become disgruntled. @KFC_Eswatini understands that prevention is the best strategy. #endgbvtogether
Our Sabelo Sensha team has been trained on the VAC-LIVES approach; which deals with knowledge on providing first-line support to survivors of violence (children and caregivers). This is a USAID requirement to ensure that all teams are skilled before project implementation.
We’re part of the International Youth Day celebration at the Millennium Park, hosted by @manzinicity under the theme “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”. #IYD2023 youth from Manzini schools showcased their innovative skills in line with the Reduce, Reuse, ♻️
