It’s a rough life
This stallion is a good friend of mine, Blaze..we go way back. He showed up recently alone and forlorn looking battered and hungry. He wore the marks of a violent battle…and I’m pretty sure he lost his band to another stallion. From the looks of it he didn’t go down without a fight. I brought him a quarter bale of hay and a bucket of water to ease the pain…which he very much appreciates. And before any of you know-it-all’s tell me I shouldn’t be feeding wild horses..I would do the same for you if I saw you standing out there in 100° heat
