The winner is Lana Wallace of the logo design competition for the Waterside Community Hub. Thank you to Ian Bowman and James Smith for telling us about the history of Waterside and working with us. It has been an enjoyable project. We look forward to visiting the hub when built

The Art department has gatecrashed the Music and Drama event tonight at Kirky High. On display is a small selection of very wonderful Nat5/Higher Art and Design work as well as Higher Photography. Feeling very proud!! 🙂🙂

Today the art department took a group of S2 pupils to Jupiter Artland. We had a fabulous day. The pupils loved the art work and the workshop. The sun was even shining 😎😎. We were all so proud of our pupils today- they were all absolute stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️

Today was our first after school Family Art Club, where our young people welcomed in their families to create paintings with some chilled Christmas music 😌 it was such a nice opportunity to relax and focus on wellbeing! @KirkintillochHS 🥰

A wonderful afternoon of S5 pupil Isla sharing her knowledge of photography and interest in teaching with our S3’s by running a lesson on colour theory. Super proud of her for teaching three classes today! The young people all responded amazingly to her and learned loads 🤩🌟
